About Nick

When I’m not working as a mechanical engineer during normal business hours, I moonlight as a creative, dynamic, and fun-loving wedding and portrait photographer.
I’ve been shooting since an early age, starting out with my trusty old 35mm film Nikon N60. Limited to only a few shots per film roll, I was among the last of a dying breed of film shooters that were forced to learn photography the ‘old fashioned way’. I learned to quickly envision the shot and conceptualize how to configure the camera. After plenty of trial and error, I eventually gathered a strong instinct of what elements make photographs powerful, compelling, and visually appealing. Now that photography has evolved in to a digital art, these instincts are serving me well. The ability to modify photographs in the digital realm has unlocked new possibilities for me to create innovative photographs.
My focus at a shoot is to have fun on both sides of the glass. When a subject is enjoying themselves, we are able to work together to capture something truly memorable. So, I tend to come off as energetic, confident, and fun-loving. I want you to have perfect photographs.
I want you to love your photographs, and we will work together to capture some moments that are unique and important to you.
